Compounding Realms

            Hi, my name is Sidarth Natarajan and this is a fun, memory game that I made with Unity 3D. The objective of the game is to get rid of the zombies, by playing the memory mini game. This puzzle allows you earn money; which in turn can be spent to buy tools that defeat the zombies. 

            There are several ways this ties to the main concept; the first being that the mini game is compound word matching. You want to find two words that together form a compound word. This means sun and flower or chest and nut would go together. When you earn money in the game, you use it to buy tools that help you earn money later. Over time, the money adds up and grows because you keep investing what you have. This shows how planning ahead and saving can make your money grow more in the long run.

            A few things that I found difficult was allowing the game to be played on any sized screen. I needed to learn about Unity's  anchoring and sizing so that it could be played on any sized screen. Also, generating the terrain for the zombies was also quite difficult. Generally, I spend a few weeks on my Unity Games, so working in a time limit of 3 days was a new experience for me.
